Dan True has authored four books. He is a flight instructor, meteorologist, and nature photographer. These skills allowed him to discover previously unknown elements about the lives of hummingbirds and eagles. The late Roger Tory Peterson, creator of the Peterson Field Guide Series, describes Dan as an "ace photographer."
 
Dan True is a former TV Meteorologist and News Crew Pilot who worked for radio and television stations in Amarillo, Texas, and Albuquerque, New Mexico. He and his wife Diane lives in Clovis, New Mexico.
 
Dan's newest project is the "Hummingbird House™" and after years of field testing it is ready to order. If you have ever wanted to watch Hummingbirds nest close up the, "Hummingbird House™" is just what you need.
